Walk along the seaside and enjoy the view. Visit the must-see Sillon beach. It is officially the most beautiful French beach (according to TripAdvisor 2023). Located near the ramparts, A perfect beach for long romantic walks with the old town’s beautiful buildings in the background.

You can’t access the beach of Sillon during high tide, but you can go to the beach of Mihinic instead. Located below a cliff, it offers a long beautiful white sand beach. As seen in beautiful postcards!

Breathe some fresh sea air

Many other beaches in Saint-Malo are perfect for a romantic or family walks. For instance, the Eventail beach near the ramparts offers a breathtaking view of the Fort National. Further south, in the heart of the ramparts, you will find the beach of Môle. The people of Saint-Malo love this convenient wind free location. Moreover, there is a beautiful view of Dinard. Plus, it offers a great panorama on the islands of the Grand Bé and Petit Bé. The Rochebonne dike is located in the Paramé district: another recommended spot to see the high tides.
